Dr Peter Sehic

Dr. Peter SehicPeter is our newest member to the team graduating from Victoria University in 2016 where he completed a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). Peter has three years experience working in the Victoria University Osteopathy Clinic in Melbourne CBD, where he treated a diverse range of patients and a variety of different conditions ranging from sporting injuries to postural strains to post-surgical care.

Peter is passionate about the holistic approach and philosophy behind Osteopathy which takes into account the patient as a whole and endeavours to seek out and address the root of the problem, rather than just the symptom. To achieve this Peter uses a range of examination methods including: orthopaedic testing, clinical testing, strength and range of motion assessment with a comprehensive clinical history, to make a diagnosis and form a treatment/management plan to best remedy the condition.

Peter has a keen interest in treating headaches and jaw pain as well as a range of other musculoskeletal conditions, using a variety of hands on techniques including soft tissue therapy, muscle energy techniques and joint mobilisation in conjunction with rehabilitation and self-management strategies to deliver a long term resolution.

Outside of the clinic you can find Peter either reading a book in the sun, boxing or resistance training at the gym, or most likely been bossed around by his two year old daughter.

Ben O’Neill

Ben is a nationally qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, having completed his degree through RMIT University in Melbourne CBD where he is currently undertaking his Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Alongside all the experience he has garnered through RMIT’s clinic facilities, treating a diverse range of conditions, he has also worked alongside professional athletes as a therapist for both 2017 NBL champions Melbourne United and 2018 AFL champions West Coast Eagles. He has also volunteered at the Wellington Centre in Collingwood.

What sparked his passion for Remedial Massage was being incredibly active throughout his teenage years/early adulthood where he suffered from muscular pain as a result of scoliosis. He found the hands-on approach of Remedial Massage, along with corrective exercises, relieved a significant amount of tension throughout his muscles which allowed him to continue being active pain free. He now enjoys the fact he is able to return the favour and help assist people in living the best quality pain free life.

Ben’s treatment style is very clinical, combining the assessment of postural abnormalities, muscle range of motion and special testing which allows him to figure out the underlying issue and what is causing the pain or discomfort.

When Ben’s not in the clinic he enjoys playing soccer, adventuring and spending time with family and friends.

Our Services

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage uses several specialised techniques to help the body repair damage to muscles, tendons and joints. The key benefit of massage is to increase blood flow to improve healing and repair as well as assist the removal of toxins from affected tissues. This can also help to decrease pain and sensitivity as well as easing tension around the joints and allowing for better joint range of motion.
