Dr. Adam Chew

Dr. Adam completed his double degree in Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. Health, exercise and rehab have always been an interest of his from a young age. He loves that Osteopathy treats the person and not just the signs and symptoms, as everyone has different goals and will need different forms of management and intervention. He believes that it is important to not only look at what’s causing the pain but to also assess and improve any functional restrictions that patients may have in their day to day activities without eliminating any meaningful activities.

Adam has a strong interest in treating all musculoskeletal complaints in people of all ages, whether it be from sports injury, desk worker or weekend warriors. He is also an avid powerlifter and has a keen interest in treating gym goers, powerlifters & athletes.
He treats using a combination of soft tissue technique, dry needling, manipulation, with a focus on rehab and exercises. As rehab programs are not a one size fits all, he believes that his point of difference is tailoring specific rehab programs for each individual and providing education to his patients regarding their pain and what patients can do outside of treatment is a vital part of getting his patients back to their feet.

Dr. Jen Rogers

Meet Dr Jen.Dr. Jen Rogers

I am an integrative chiropractor, which means I use a range of techniques to investigate and treat functional issues involving the brain, nerves, joints and soft tissues. Having been an elite, multi-sport athlete, I have a passion for performance and injury prevention. As a mum, I enjoy helping other expectant and new mums to optimise their pregnancies and post-partum function. My other key clinical interests include nutrition, stress management, posture correction, chronic pain, jaw issues (TMJ) and headaches.

As a natural problem solver, I will always go above and beyond to provide personalised, empathetic service that targets the underlying causes of your symptoms. My goal is for you to achieve long-term outcomes that enhance your quality of life. I am excited to be part of the team at Kingston Spinal Clinic and welcome people of all ages who are ready to improve their functional health and mobility.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, stock-market trading, travelling and keeping active with tennis, karate, cycling, swimming, CrossFit, yoga and more! My drive to learn also means that you will find me researching and seeking out new information for personal and professional growth.

Why did you become a Chiropractor?

Having dealt with my own complex health issues in the past, I understand the impact that pain and other symptoms can have on quality of life. After successfully rehabilitating myself back to health, I decided to leave a lucrative corporate career to help others with their health goals. I was accepted into a competitive graduate medical school program, however ultimately realised that chiropractic was a better fit with my interest in non-invasive, conservative interventions to support health.  Chiropractic is a diverse primary health care modality with over 100 associated systems and techniques.

What are your relevant qualifications?

I graduated from RMIT University with a 5-year double degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Chiropractic) with distinction. Always up for a challenge, I set high goals for my academic results and was rewarded with the Academic Excellence Award for the highest grade point average (GPA) in the course as well as the Vice Chancellor’s List Award for being in the top 2% of all graduating higher education students. Post-graduate certifications in Professional Applied KinesiologyTM and Advanced Biostructural CorrectionTM have further developed my practical knowledge and skills.

Currently I am working towards a Fellowship in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). Fellowship is the highest level of education and recognises in-depth training, knowledge and clinical application across key nutritional, environmental and biochemical factors that can affect health.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric treatment is a treatment that delivers oxygen under pressure, enriching cellular blood oxygen levels . HBOT floods the body with oxygen, saturating tissue that was previously oxygen deprived. The Salus 36 is calibrated to maximize pressure at 1.3ATA. This is equivalent to a dive, in water, to a depth of approx 4.12 metres.
