Remedial Massage

What is Remedial Massage?

Remedial massage uses several specialised techniques to help the body repair damage to muscles, tendons and joints. The key benefit of massage is to increase blood flow to improve healing and repair as well as assist the removal of toxins from affected tissues. This can also help to decrease pain and sensitivity as well as easing tension around the joints and allowing for better joint range of motion.

Our clinic offers a range of different massage styles including sports, relaxation, deep tissue and trigger point release. Massage can be of benefit during pregnancy, soreness from sport and exercise, as well as muscular pain as a result of work, travel, back pain, headaches and arthritis.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric treatment is a treatment that delivers oxygen under pressure, enriching cellular blood oxygen levels . HBOT floods the body with oxygen, saturating tissue that was previously oxygen deprived. The Salus 36 is calibrated to maximize pressure at 1.3ATA. This is equivalent to a dive, in water, to a depth of approx 4.12 metres.
